On coming from behind:
“We know every game in the Valley is going to be like this. Every team is going to be bringing their all. But tonight our teammates were picking us up in every time-out, cheering us on. Eventually it started picking us up on the floor.”
On being in first-place in the Valley:
“We go out one game at a time. We need to forget the past games and just keep moving forward.”
Ali Farokmanesh
On lob pass to Koch in final minutes:
”I don't really know what was going through my head. It worked out though. I know coach probably didn't like it though.”
On being 7-1 in MVC play:
“We're not surprised. We have confidence now and we're ready to keep playing.”
On individual play in recent games:
“I'm just getting more confidence and learning the system. I'm also getting to know my teammates better and playing together.”
On switching to press in halfway through second half:
“I was hoping our man-to-man would catch-up at some point. But Bradley kept matching our shots and making the tough shots. We did make plays when we needed to to keep it at only a seven to 10 point lead. But in the second half we just needed to find a way to change the momentum.”
On rallying from behind:
“It speaks for the team. We could have been down more. We kept it at six at the half and made progress defensively as a team which kept us in the game.”
On defending the home floor:
“This game is something we have to build off of. We need to makes strides ont eh home floor. With our better playing comes more confidence and more pride. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are much closer to where we need to be.”
