UNI senior Meghana Paritala won her 83rd career match as a Panther, cruising past Kelly Donohue in No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1, to snap her five-match losing streak. Paritala is now in a three-way tie for second place on the Panthers' all-time wins list. She needs two more victories to become the Panthers all-time wins leader. Nancy Land is the all-time leader with 84 career victories and has held the top spot for 13 years.
Fellow senior Carolina Hannes notched her 82nd career victory over Kim Braun, 6-0, 6-1 in No. 6 singles. Hannes is currently fifth on the all-time wins list.
In doubles play, the Panthers won all three matches led by Paritala and junior Taynara Moraes in No. 1 doubles. The duo beat Jess Buterbaugh and Kelly Donohue, 8-4. Sophomore Sampada Kanade and freshman Diana Mendez held off Nicole Miller and Emily Regenold, 9-7 in No. 2 doubles, and Hannes and freshman Laia Gonzalez-Garrido completed the Panther doubles sweep with an 8-5 win over Krubeck and Braun.
The Panthers will complete its home schedule tomorrow at 11 a.m. against
