Panthers Roll in First Round Play at MVC Tournament

The Panthers ace Meghana Paritala led the way beating Veronika Leszayova of Drake 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 in the #1 singles flight. She will face the two-time defending #1 singles champion Jennifer Migan of
Sophomore Sampada Kanade beat Lauren Mastro of Creighton 6-3, 6-3 playing in the #2 singles flight. Kanade will face Katri Miller of
Junior Taynara Moraes, playing in the #3 singles flight, rolled past Sarah Cadwallader of Creighton 6-1, 6-0. Moraes teamed with Kanade in #1 doubles play and defeated Bradley's Kelly Donohue and Emily Regenold, 8-3.
Senior Carolina Hannes was also able to punch a ticket to the semifinals in the #5 singles flight with a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory over Stephanie Mills of
