Panthers Wrap Up Fall Season

Des Moines - The University of Northern Iowa softball team wrapped up the 2007 fall season today at the Big Four Classic in Des Moines. The Panthers fell to Iowa 9-2 and dropped a 10-2 loss to Iowa State.

"We got a chance to see what we can do this weekend, and also got to see what we need to work on." UNI head coach Ryan Jacobs said. "We have the rest of the fall to work on the things we need to improve on, and hopefully we can get those fixed before the spring season starts."

The Panthers will start the 2008 season by hosting a tournament in the UNI Dome Feb. 8-10.
