Panthers Grab Much Needed Win

UNI's No. 1 Meghana Paritala (Secunderabad, India) notched two victories for the Panthers. Paritala defeated Ashley Morris of BU 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. Paritala was undefeated on the weekend at 4-0.
Taynara Moreas (Santos, Brazil), Mariana Muraca (Sao Paulo, Brazil), and Meredith Esbeck (West Des Moines, Iowa) all took home two set victories in singles for the Panthers.
Paritala teamed up with Sara Kendall (Brisbane, Queensland) for an 8-0 stomping of the Braves duo at No. 3 doubles. The Brazilian connection of Muraca and Carolina Hannes (Sao Paulo, Brazil) dominated at No. 2 doubles winning 8-1.
The Panthers move to 12-4 on the season, 2-3 in the conference.
