Junior center Cassie Hager led UNI with 13 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots while junior guard Amanda Faas hit two-of-four shots from beyond the arc in a 10 point, five rebound and three steals performance. Senior forward Alex Cook grabbed 10 boards and tallied six points while senior point guard Emily Berry chipped in eight points.
UNI struggled to put points on the board in the first half connecting on just five-of-24 shots (20.8 percent) and two-of-10 three pointers. Their 14 points was the lowest point production in a half this season. UNI made a late surge cutting the deficit to four points with
The Panthers cap off their best regular season, finishing with their first ever second place MVC finish, 13 conference wins and 20 total wins. UNI will wait and see if the WNIT will invite the Panthers to take part in the 32-team tournament.
