Pauline Kelly

In 1982, Pauline Kelly started her golf career at the UNI. A native of Streetsville, Ontario, she had an immediate impact on the women's golf program and has left her name throughout the record books.
She received All-America honors as a freshman when she placed 26th in the 1982 AIAW Division II National Golf Championships.
In 1983, she finished fifth in the Gateway Conference Championships. Kelly tied for 10th in the conference as a senior. She was inducted into Omicrom Delta Kappa, a national honors leadership society at UNI. She was presented the Purple and Old Gold Award for outstanding academic and athletic achievement. In 1985, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in physical health and science education.
She continued her education at the University of Alabama, where she earned a master's degree in physiology of exercise. After graduation, Kelly worked as a golf instructor and had classroom teaching experience at numerous learning institutions. She then became self-employed as a stress management consultant, an endeavor she began in 1989. The Gateway Conference named her an Athlete of the Decade in 1992.
