Anne Woodrick, the longtime faculty athletic representative from 2002-2011, is a professor of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminology, Anthropology. She served on the MVC President's Council and was a member of the hiring committee that hired women's basketball head coach Tanya Warren.

Dr. Woodrick also served as the chair of the UNI Compliance Team, and as a member of three NCAA Self-Study Certifications, the Intercollegiate Athletic Advisory Council, the NCAA Walter Byers Scholarship Committee, and the NCAA Division I Academic Cabinet. She impacted the lives of countless student-athletes through her advocacy and leadership.
