University of Northern Iowa Athletics
Dual In The Dome Credential Request
The UNI wrestling team will host the Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. CT inside the UNI-Dome for the Peters Construction Dual In The Dome, presented by Journeymen Wrestling.
In preparation for this highly anticipated event, media members interested in covering the dual are asked to fill out this credential application form. This dual, as opposed to regular home wrestling events, will be credentialed separately due to high levels of interest and high media interest, therefore regular 2026-27 UNI Athletics media credentials will not be valid or accepted to cover this event.
Credential applications will be accepted between Monday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. CT and close at 5 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 4. No late applications will be accepted.
Applications will be reviewed after the deadline and all applicants will receive a status update from the UNI Athletic Communications email account (unisid@uni.edu) regarding credential pickup information.
Due to limited floor space, only team communication and internal team content staffs, along with limited TV and photo/video will be permitted on the floor during the dual. Floor credentialed media members will be provided a pinnie vest. All other credentialed media members will be seated in the UNI-Dome press box on the west side on the stadium
Prior to the dual, all credentialed media members will be permitted to access the floor. Those not granted floor access will be asked to leave the floor ten minutes prior to the start
Access to the team tunnel area prior to and during the dual will only be permitted to team content personnel.
Post-dual press conferences and interviews will be conducted in the McLeod Center media room.
Questions regarding the credentialing process can be directed to UNI wrestling sports information contact Joel Wauters (joel.wauters@uni.edu).
