Since 2008, the UNI softball team has proudly called the Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex its home. After nearly three decades at the beloved "Panther Park," the Panthers made the move to a new and improved facility just northwest of campus on West 12th Street.
Robinson-Dresser offers a major upgrade for players and fans alike. Gone are the days of limited amenities — the complex features a press box, permanent seating, and convenient on-site restrooms and concessions. Fans will especially appreciate the ease of access with a spacious, paved parking lot located right next to the field.
Originally built in 1989 and shared with Cedar Falls High School, the field underwent significant renovations in 2007. Upgrades included enhanced turf, a new drainage system, a modern scoreboard, and a reinforced outfield fence. The facility is also equipped with a lighting system for exciting night games, along with expansive bullpen areas for both home and visiting teams.
And just in time for the 2025 season, Robinson-Dresser raised the bar once again — adding brand-new outfield party decks to take the fan experience to the next level.
