Bertsch recorded three top-10 finishes and was named the Missouri Valley Conference's co-women's golfer of the week in early March. Bertsch posted a career-low round of 68 in the final round of the Jackrabbit Invitational held at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bertsch's final round 68 surged her into a tie for fifth in the overall standings. Bertsch followed that up with a tie for ninth at the Pizza Hut Pat Lady Thunderbird Invitational held March 15-16 in St. George, Utah. Bertsch helped lead the Panther women's golf team to the program's first outright championship since 2012 at the ORU/SFA Spring Break Shootout at the Trophy Club Golf Course in Trophy, Texas. Bertsch tied for fourth overall after carding rounds of 75, 79 and 74 in the three-day event. Bertsch leads the team in scoring this year at 77.05 per round.

Maddie is a Marketing: Sales Management major and has been a consistent member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
