2017 INDOOR: Ran the mile at the Hawkeye Invitational (1/13) with a time of 5:06.89...At the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (1/20), ran the 3000 with a time of 9:49.91 finishing 4th...Finished 1st at the 2017 Mark Messersmith Invitational (1/28) in the mile with a time of 5:01.70...Ran the 5000 at the Iowa State Classic (2/10), finishing 4th with 16:56.07...Participated in the 2017 MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships (2/25), running the 3000 and the 5000, placed 3rd in the 3000 with a 9:57.72 finish and 6th in the 5000 with a time of 17:23.55.
2017 OUTDOOR: Placed 1st in the 3000 with a time of 9:56.49 and 3rd in the 1500 with a time of 4:43.99 at the Husker Spring Invitational (4/8)..Had a 1st place finish in the 5000 at the Tom Botts Invitational (4/14) with a time of 16:52.67...Ran the 5000 at the Drake Relays (5/12) with a time of 16:23.87 placing 10th...At the MVC Championships placed 2nd in the 10,000 with a time of 36:24.85 and placed 3rd in the 5000 with a time of 17:38.49...Placed 2nd in the 5000 with a time of 17:05.37 at the USATF Junior Championships (6/22).
