Panther Men's Golf Opens at Air Force's Gene Miranda Invite

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI Men's golf opens the season at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite hosted by the Air Force Academy at the stunning Eisenhower Golf Course on the Academy campus.
The varsity squad includes junior Sam Sacquitne, sophomores Parker Oleson and Carter Stochi and freshmen Tommy Doyle and Alex Pries.
Oleson is the only member of the varsity team that participated in the Missouri Valley Championship last spring. He finished 45th overall, carding a three-round score 254.
The course for the opener is a 7,511-yard championship course. The field includes teams from the Pac-12, Mountain West, WAC, Big Sky, MAC and Sun Belt Conference.
The three-round tournament will take place over three days closing on Sunday.
