UNI Cross Country: Wal Khat Earns 3rd Top-15 Finish

WOMEN'S RESULTS | MEN'S RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – UNI cross country's Wal Khat earned his third top-15 finish of the season to lead the men's team to an 11th-place finish at the 33rd annual Roy Griak Invitational at the Les Bolstad Course today.
The women's team was led by McKayla Cole. The Panthers finished 10th overall. It was the first 6K race for the women this year. Cole placed 48th with a time of 22 minutes, 36.4 seconds. Host No. 23 Minnesota was the team champion.
The women's team is ranked ninth in the Midwest. Iowa State, No. 2 Minnesota, No. 3 Oklahoma State, No. 4 South Dakota, No. 5
In the men's 8K race, Khat finished in 12th place in 24:57.60. Junior C.J. May took 69th, leading a tight pack of Panthers. The pack of Ben Ahlrichs, Sam McCool, Alex Jackson and Drake Henrichs finished within 11 seconds from May. The field included 152 finishers.
