UNI Tennis Heads to Gopher Invite

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--After a successful weekend at the Drake Invitational, the University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team will travel to the Gopher Invite, Sept. 21 through Sept. 23 at the University of Minnesota.
Action will begin for singles and doubles play at 9 a.m. on Sept. 21, with doubles play happening first.
A live stream will be available for matches played on courts 1-6.
Tournament participants include Drake, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Arkansas, Iowa State, Minnesota, and UNI. Additional tournament information and brackets can be found on the tournament page
Last Time in Action
Reghan Lynch and Claudia Toledo tied for first in the consolations of Flight A at the Drake Invite.
Kate Merrick returned from an injury last season to win to Flight B consolation.
Freshmen Daisy Phillips and Olivia Fain placed second and fourth respectively in the Flight C. Vale Caro was second on the consolation side of the bracket.
Morganne Borsh finished third in the Flight D bracket.
