UNI men's and women's cross country
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI men's and women's cross country teams will face Missouri Valley Conference favorites Bradley on its own course.
The women are set to run a three-mile course at 5 p.m. CT, while the men compete in an eight-kilometer run starting at 5:45 p.m. CT at the Bradley Intercollegiate.
Six teams are expected to compete Friday: Bradley, Chicago State, UNI, Valparaiso, Western Illinois and Wisconsin-Green Bay.
The UNI women's team is ranked 14th in the region. Bradley slipped to No. 6 in the region after having a top-five rank in preseason.
On the men's side, Bradley is ranked fifth in the region.

Junior Wal Khat of Mooseheart, Illinois, was the men's leader for UNI. He finished 10th among the collegiate runners.

LAST TIME OUT
UNI had last weekend off after competing at the Hawkeye Invite in Iowa City, Iowa. Gabby Champion (Naperville, Illinois) and Alyssa Williams (Durant, Iowa) led the Panthers on the women side, finishing 11th and 12th, respectively.Junior Wal Khat of Mooseheart, Illinois, was the men's leader for UNI.
