UNI Prepares for Final Tune-up Before MVC Championships

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program travels to Wisconsin on Friday, as the Panthers compete at the Shell Shocker for their final tune-up before the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
The Panthers will be joined by host-school Wisconsin and Marquette for the double-dual event. Field action will begin at 2:30 p.m., while running events will commence at 5:15 p.m., from the Camp Randall Sports Center.
A total of 26 men and 34 women will make the trip to Madison, Wisconsin on Friday for the Shell Shocker.

Last Time Out
The Panthers posted a successful weekend last time out in Brookings, South Dakota, with Sarah Pate earning MVC Female Field Athlete of the Week honors. The recognition marked the third-straight week the Panthers have won a MVC weekly award, with each coming on the women's side.
