Panthers in Three-Way Tie After Day 1

IOWA CITY, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team is in a three-way for second after two events at the Missouri Valley Conference championships.

The Panther relay team of Katie Taylor, Moriah Ross, Crystal Florman and Molly Lembezeder took second place in the 200 medley relay, timing in at one minute, forty-one seconds and eighteen-hundredths of a second.

Taylor would team up with Kylie Engstrom, Jordan McCullough and Rachel Siebenaller in the 800 freestyle relay, swimming a 7:27.70 for fourth place.

Action will resume at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, beginning with the 500 freestyle.
