CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI wrestling will send 10 wrestlers to the Pat "Flash" Flanagan Open Saturday.

Tanner Rohweder will have a chance to earn his second title at 125 pounds. Wrestling will start at 9 a.m. CT. UNI's freshmen are competing unattached:
- Tanner Rohweder (6-7): The sophomore won last year's tournament at 125 pounds. This year he placed fourth at the Grand View Open and sixth at the UNI Open.
- Jay Schipper (2-8): Wrestling at 125 pounds, the freshman opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.
- Jack Skudlarcyzk (10-4): He is looking for his third open title of the year. Skudlarcyzk was a three-time state champion in Texas and opened his college career with a Harold Nichols Cyclone Open title at 133 pounds. He also won the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open.
- Derek Holschlag (1-2) – The freshman from La Porte City, Iowa, took sixth at his first collegiate competition ata 141 pounds. An injury forced him to bow out early of the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.
- Keaton Geerts (11-7): Geerts was a two-time state champion for New Hampton High School. He finished third at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open and fourth at the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open at 149 pounds.
- Triston Lara (5-3): Lara has already wrestled at two different weights for UNI. He won the Harold Nichols Open at 149 pounds and competed at the UNI Open at 141 pounds.
- Patrick Schoenfelder (13-5): The freshman has won two tournaments and placed at three so far this year. Schoenfelder opened with wins at the Harold Nichols and Grand View opens at 165 pounds. He was sixth at the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open.
- Austin Yant (9-3): Yant of Waverly, Iowa, has placed in all three tournaments he has competed in this year. He was second at the Harold Nichols and Grand View opens and took third at the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open at 165 pounds.
- Brody Beck (3-6): Beck moved up a weight from last year, where he took fifth at last year's event in the 165-pound weight class. He competed at 174 pounds in this year's tournaments.
- Carter Rohweder (6-8): Rohweder medaled at the Grand View Open with a fifth-place finish at 174 pounds.
