TULSA, Oklahoma - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team is in 10th place following the opening 36 holes at the ORU Shootout.
UNI had a two-round team scores of 303-314 (617) following play on Monday at Meadowbrook Country Club.
Emily Snelling, who is tied for 23rd place, leads the Panthers after shooting 4-over (76) in round one and 5-over (77) in round two. Snelling notched five birdies on the day.
Following Snelling is Maddie Bertsch and Sydney Eaton as they are both tied for 28th place after shooting 10-over on the day. Bertsch and Eaton combined for five birdies.
Hannah Bermel shot 6-over (78) in both rounds, leaving her tied for 42nd place. Bermel carded three birdies in round one.
Paige VanDyk will look to bounce back in round three after finishing tied for 69th place with rounds of 79 and 81 on Monday.
Play will wrap up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
