UNI Soccer Ranks #14 in United Soccer Coaches Poll

Cedar Falls, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa ranks in the Top-15 of the United Soccer Coaches Poll, Midwest Region.
The Panthers, who rank at #14, fell two spots from last week's poll. This is the first time in school history that the Panthers have earned a regional ranking.
"Being regionally ranked is a reward to our players for getting results to start the season so well," remarked UNI head coach Bruce Erickson. "I'm pleased for them and for our program. Our goal remains to be regionally ranked at the end of the season."
NCAA rankings place goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger is in the Top-15 in three categories. Reichenberger in No. 3 in shutouts with 6, behind Milwaukee's Mallory Geurts, who leads. Reichenberger's .933 save percentage gives her a spot at No. 11. Reichenberger leads the MVC in those categories as well. With a goals against average of .286, Reichenberger lands at No. 13 on the NCAA list.
The Panthers travel to Northern Illinois on Sept. 15 for a 6 p.m. match-up before hosting North Dakota on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m.
