UNI Soccer Wins Exhibition Against Western Illinois

Macomb, Ill.—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team made swift work of their exhibition match against Western Illinois, winning 1-0.

Jami Reichenberger had a huge save in the goal for the Panthers, during the opening five minutes of the match. Reichenberger would finish the match with three saves for the Panthers.

Brynell Yount scored with an assist from Jenny Wick at the 21-minute mark.

Head coach Bruce Erickson commented, "We had quality possessions and were outshooting and out cornering them by large margins. Jami had a big performance with the early save."

The Panthers travel to Minnesota State, Mankato for an exhibition match on Aug. 15 at 5 p.m.
