"Sunday games are always a battle and we stepped up and dictated play for large chunks of the game," UNI head coach Bruce Erickson remarked after the game.
Senior Sarah Brandt (Ankeny, Iowa) put the Panthers on the board at the 10:50 mark. With that goal, Brandt has 11 career goals as a Panther. Junior Brynell Yount (Aurora, Colo.) assisted in the goal.

"Two good goals and a team effort to win on the road," commented Erickson.
