The second annual Run4UNI brought 282 runners to the University of Northern Iowa campus on Saturday.
This year's Run4UNI featured two options for competitors - a four-mile course and a one-mile tour.
The four-mile course saw 262 runners take to the campus.
Run4UNI took place Saturday morning as competitors raced around a four-mile course on the Panther campus. The race began on 27th Street just to the east of Hudson Road and wound its way to an eventual finish at the 50-yard line of Sheriff Field in the UNI-Dome. The race course included many landmarks on the UNI campus, including the Campanile, Maucker Union, Seerley Hall and Commons.
The one-mile course included 20 runners in the first year of this offering.
"It was another great experience for the Run4UNI in year two," UNI Deputy Athletic Director Steve Schofield said. "It was always good to see the turnout from runners, walkers or simply the volunteers that help make the event go smoothly. We are looking forward to many more years of the Run4UNI."

The race was made possible by sponsorship from Grinnell Mutual, Hy-Vee, SingleSpeed Brewing and Trekman Racing.
