CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI track and field program is set to head to Iowa City, Iowa, on Saturday, April 22 to compete in the Musco Invitational.

The meet will take place in the afternoon with field events starting at noon and action on the track getting underway at 1:55 p.m. The Panthers will be competing against teams from Creighton, Dubuque, Iowa Central, Iowa State, Iowa, Simpson, Wartburg, and Western Illinois along with MVC foes Drake and Loyola.

UNI will be traveling its largest group of the season with 39 men and 38 women competing on Saturday. The Panthers are coming off yet another successful weekend of track and field after competing at the Tom Botts Invitational.

Twenty-two women and 27 men recorded season-best marks while in Columbia, Mo., with 31 Panthers ranked in the top-eight in their respective events. UNI heads into the weekend with eight athletes ranked in the top-48 in the NCAA West in eight events.
