Volleyball Seeking Donations for Nicaragua Trip

The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team is taking its foreign trip to Nicaragua in May 2017.

The program works to fundraise for a trip every four years. The days will consist of playing volleyball, experiencing Nicaragua and doing mission work. An extra component of this trip that is different than in the past is the opportunity to give back. The team will be volunteering at Manos Unidas (cooperative for people with disabilities), Escuela Adelante (preschool) and local schools. The Panthers will also host a youth volleyball clinic.

The Panthers are looking for donations to give during their mission experiences. If you can donate any of this items, please bring to either the UNI spring tournament on April 8 or to the UNI volleyball office.

Kneepads, spandex, ankle braces, white and colored thread, needles with a big eye, fabric with funky patterns, beads & clasps for making jewelry, pins, glue, foam paper, mouse pads (20), white board markers (expo brand - black, red, blue, green only), pencil sharpeners, erasers, stickers, dollar store style prizes, raffle ticket rolls, books for the library, notebooks, notecards, children's books in Spanish and English and any type of school supplies.
