The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball program turns its attention to Loyola and Indiana State for its final road trip of the regular season. UNI gets started at Loyola on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. followed by a Sunday morning match-up against Indiana State on Feb. 19 at 11 a.m.
Five Facts:
• Tanya Warren holds an overall record of 180-136 in her 10th season at UNI. She is just three wins away from tying Tony DiCecco for all-time wins leader at UNI.
• UNI ranks fifth in NCAA Division I women's basketball in turnovers per game, only averaging 11.5 per game.
• Madison Weekly is ranked No. 9 in the nation in assist/turnover ratio (3.03).
• UNI is currently No. 2 in the league in scoring defense, only allowing 58.0 points per game. It ranks No. 4 all-time in team season records.
• UNI currently has three players on the team that have seen action in over 100 games in the Purple and Old Gold.

About the Ramblers: The Loyola Ramblers enter the game against the Panthers 2-21 overall and 1-11 in Missouri Valley Conference play. Their only win comes against Illinois State on Jan. 6 inside Gentile Arena (W, 64-61. Despite their struggles, the Ramblers are being led by Katie Salmon, who is averaging 8.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. They are also ranked in the top half of the Valley in three-point percentage, shooting over 30-percent.
Victory Numbers: Head coach Tanya Warren is just four wins away from becoming UNI's all-time wins leader, sitting with 179. Former head coach Tony DiCecco had 183 wins from 1995-2006. She is also ranked No. 8 all-time in Valley history and No. 7 in career Valley wins (113).
Defense, Defense, Defense: The two top ranked scoring defenses will meet on Sunday afternoon. Indiana State is currently ranked No. 1 in the conference in scoring defense, only allowing 56.3 points per game while UNI is only allowing 58.0.
Gerrits Gets To 19: Abby Gerrits scored a career-high 19 points in UNI's win over Illinois State (2/12). She has now reached double-digits in three games this season, including twice in the last four games.
Newcomer With Experience: Graduate transfer Kennedy Kirkpatrick scored a career-high 15 points against Illinois State (2/12). She is a newcomer to the team, but played in 62 career games for Bowling Green State. The Lawrence, Kan. native is averaging 4.8 points this season and has seen action in all 24 games.
Schonhardt on the Move: Hannah Schonhardt finished the game against Illinois State (2/12) with two blocks, moving into eighth all-time at UNI in career blocks. She is tied with Barb Bennett (1997-00), both with 84.
Tying Numbers: Megan Maahs grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds against Illinois State (2/12). It ties her career-high that was set at Bradley (1/15). It marks the third time this season she has had double-digit boards.
Turnovers: UNI forced 24 turnovers against the Redbirds (2/12), the second most this season. They forced 26 against Loyola (1/22).
Consecutive Games: Senior Madison Weekly has played in 106 consecutive games in the Purple and Old Gold and 116 overall (100th against Iowa, 12/4/16). She has also started in 91 straight games and 102 overall. She started in her 100th career game at Southern Illinois (2/5). She is eighth all-time at UNI in career starts.
That Defense Though: The Panthers are currently holding opponents to just 58.0 points per game through 24 games this season, ranking No. 5 all-time at UNI. UNI has held its opponents to below 60 points in 14 games this season.
