UNI Hosts Nebraska-Omaha

Cedar Falls, Iowa---The University of Northern Iowa swimming and diving team returns to the Glen F. Henry Pool on Saturday, Nov. 4 for a 3 p.m. meet against Nebraska-Omaha.
The last time in action, the Panthers won 12 of 16 events against South Dakota on Oct. 27. The Panthers saw strong performances from Katie Taylor, Moriah Ross, Crystal Florman, Molly Lembezeder and Izzy Bunchek.
Taylor broke the South Dakota pool record in the 200 backstroke, swimming in at 2:14.87. Taylor would win first-place in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM. Taylor leads the Missouri Valley Conference in the 50, 100, and 200 backstrokes.Â
Lembezeder and Florman took first and second in the 50 freestyle. Lembezeder swam a 27.05, with Florman timing in at 27.28. Lembezeder leads the Valley in the 50 freestyle.
Ross nabbed a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, timing in at 2:38.26. Ross leads the conference in the 200 breaststroke.
Izzy Bunchek nabbed a second-place finish in the 1-meter diving, scoring a 219.55. In the 3-meter diving well, Bunchek dove a 188.15 for fourth-place.
