McMichael Leads Panthers on Day One in Norwalk

NORWALK, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team is tied for third place following the opening 36 holes at the 2017 Drake Bulldog Invitational.
UNI finished with two-round team scores of 322-312 (634) on Monday at Echo Valley Country Club.
Leading the Panthers tied for 3rd place is Sarah McMichael after finishing 7-over (79) in round one and 4-over (76) in round two. McMichael notched 3 birdies in round two.
Next up tied for 6th place is Sydney Eaton. Eaten shot 7-over (79) in round one and 6-over (78) in round two.
Tied for 15th place is both Paige VanDyk and Hannah Bermel. Both finished with a score of 161 after shooting 10-over (82) in round one and 7-over (79) in round two.
Emily Snelling shot 11-over (83) and 14-over (86) on the day, leaving her tied for 31st place.
Play will wrap up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
