Dunne Makes Midseason CFPA Watch List

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) announced its 2017 midseason watch list for the CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year Trophy on Tuesday, with Northern Iowa quarterback Eli Dunne making the cut for the 36-player watch list.
The award winner will be announced Jan. 10, 2018.
This season Dunne has passed for 1,908 yards and 19 touchdowns, while completing 162 of his 267 attempts. The junior quarterback has earned six multi-touchdown games this season, with a pair of four-score games coming against Cal Poly and Western Illinois.
Dunne's 19 passing touchdowns are tied for 13th in the FCS and rank third in the MVFC. UNI's signal caller is one of five MVFC quarterbacks to make Wednesday's list.
