Seehase Named MVC Freshman of the Week

University of Northern Iowa freshman Jaydlin Seehase has been named the Missouri Valley Conference's Volleyball Freshman of the Week.
The 6'1", outside hitter from Sumner, Iowa, averaged 2.55 kills per set with a .323 hitting percentage in three Panther victories.
Seehase hit .381 with 10 kills, two digs and two blocks assists in a 3-0 win vs. Drake. Seehase hit .308 with six kills and a block assist in a 3-0 triumph over Loyola. She hit .290 with 12 kills, three block assists and two digs in a five-set win over Valpo.
She is the first Panther freshman to earn the league's top freshman weekly accolade since Piper Thomas in 2015.
The Panthers and Seehase will hit the road this week with matches at Illinois State (Fri., 7 p.m.) and at Bradley (Sun., 12 p.m.).
