LAWRENCE, Kansas--Gisela Kemper of the University of Northern Iowa tennis team advanced today at the ITA Central Regional Championships.
Kemper went the distance in both her matches today. Kemper posted a 6-7, 6-2, 10-8 victory over North Dakota's Jaylee Yasunaga. Kemper would win the first set over Bradley's Sandra Maletin before dropping the second set. Kemper would win the third and final set, with scores being 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.
Kemper will meet Ally McKenzie of Saint Louis University in competition tomorrow.
Reghan Lynch competed for the Panthers today, falling to Kseniya Zonova of Southeast Missouri State, 1-6, 3-6.
