UNI in 6th After Day One of Zach Johnson Invite

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team is in sixth place following the opening 36 holes at the 2017 Zach Johnson Invitational.

UNI finished with team scores of 304-302 (606) on Monday at Glen Oaks Country Club.

Leading the Panthers in 11th place is Jared Rowe after finishing even (72) in round one and 5-over (77) in round two. Rowe notched five birdies on the day.

Following Rowe in 16th place is Marshal Lamb. Lamb shot 5-over (77) in round one and 1-over (73) in round two. Lamb led the Panthers with six birdies on the day.

Sam Sacquitne and Parker Oleson each notched one birdie on day one. Both finished 6-over (78) in round one.

Play will wrap up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
