Panthers, Hawkeyes Schedule 2020 Game

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The 2020 Northern Iowa football schedule became clearer on Thursday, with the announcement of a road trip to Iowa City. The Panthers and Iowa Hawkeyes will open the season Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, in Kinnick Stadium.
The two squads will play next season as well (Sept. 15), with that contest also being on the road for UNI. The 2020 meeting will be the 19th between the two programs, with 18 of those taking place in Iowa City.
UNI has not played Iowa since 2014's nail-biter against the Hawkeyes, which the Panthers narrowly lost, 31-23.
