MINNEAPOLIS--Seniors Astrid Santos and Sydney Wolfe will each play for singles titles in the consolation brackets of the Gopher Invitational.
Singles Action
Wolfe defeated Laura Romero of South Dakota State, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinals and will face Isabella Franks of Marquette on Sunday in the E Flight.
Santos defeated Janelle Wilson of Nebraska-Omaha, 7-6 (2), 6-4. Santos will meet Rita Timakova for the consolation title of the C Flight.
Savanna Hunt took fourth place in the F Flight, falling to Hannah Hills of North Dakota, 6-1, 6-2.
Elvira Lopez fell to Camila Vargas Gomez of Minnesota 6-2, 6-4 and will play Annemarie Emme of Minnesota for seventh place in the B Flight.
Jieke Stroobant fell to Iasmin Rosa of South Dakota State, 6-0, 6-0. Stroobant will meet Eszter Zador of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Sunday in the A Flight.
Gisela Kemper was injured in her match against Nanette Nylund of South Dakota in the D Flight.

Wolfe and Hunt would fall to Lee/Nakasato of North Dakota, 6-2. Wolfe and Hunt would come back to win against Hills/Stafford of Nebraska-Omaha 7-6 (5).
Santos and Stroobant would team up for a victory over Kobayashi/Flament of San Jose, 7-5. Santos and Stroobant would fall to Emme/Vargas Gomez of Minnesota, 6-2.
Lopez would team up with Masha Lobanova of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and would fall to Klocker/Gauvin of San Jose, 6-1. The duo would also fall to Lo/Wilson of Nebraska-Omaha, 6-4.
