Despite the Chicago Bears losing on Monday night, former UNI defensive back Deiondre' Hall had a standout game. The Blue Springs, Mo. native got the chance to play against former North Dakota State quarterback, Carson Wentz, and didn't disapoint. Hall came up with a huge knockdown on a 3-and-7 for the Eagles, forcing Philadelphia to a field goal.
David Johnson has also started his second year in the league with a strong first two weeks, including his best receiving game in the NFL to date. The Clinton, Iowa native finished the Cardinal's 40-7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wtih 98 yards through the air, averaging 32.7 yards per reception. He also had 12 carries for 45 yards.
