UNI Softball Downs Kirkwood

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa softball team had their second game of the fall season Wednesday afternoon hosting Kirkwood Community College in a 10-inning exhibition game.
No official scoring was taking place, but the Panthers downed the Eagles.
Brittney Roby came in tough for the Panthers scoring a total of three runs.
During the second half, the Panthers pulled away from the Eagles by scoring nine runs. Four of those runs occurring in the seventh inning.
The Panthers next fall game is against Iowa Central Community College on Wed., Sept. 21, at 4:30 p.m. at Robinson-Dresser Field.
