Panthers in the Pros: NFL Preseason Week 3

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Former defensive back and UNI standout Deiondre' Hall notched his first career interception as a professional football player in the third week of preseason play in the NFL on Saturday.
Hall, who ranks No. 5 all-time at UNI in career interceptions and has the school record in career pick-sixes, intercepted a pass from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Aaron Murray and returned it eight yards. The former Panther has been making headlines on his strong play during the preseason Chicago Bears games, also earning Player of the Game honors in week one.
David Johnson added points to the Arizona Cardinals scoreboard on Sunday, carrying the ball six times for 28 yards and a touchdown. Johnson punched in a three-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter on an eight-play, 75 yard offensive drive. The Clinton, Iowa native also had one reception and was targeted twice.
This weekend marks the final weekend of preseason play with the first week of regular season games taking place Sept. 8-12.
