UNI Student Section Renamed "Purple Mayhem"

You see them walking to class, eating in the student union, studying at the library. Everything looks normal.

But when they enter the UNI-Dome or the McLeod Center – They change. To the opposing teams, is it too loud to hear your plays being called? Tough. Too loud to hear yourself think? Deal with it.

Because it is Purple Mayhem in the student section. It is the extra push the Panthers need on a fourth-and-one and it is the extra strength the Panthers need when there is 30 seconds left in the game and we are down one-point with the ball in our hands. It is Purple Mayhem.

UNI's student section will be known as one entity in 2016-17 and have one cause – to cheer on their classmates, their team, their Panthers as the Purple Mayhem.
