UNI Nabs Top MVC Finish in Directors' Cup

2015-2016 Learfeld Directors' Cup Final Standings (PDF)
The University of Northern Iowa posted the highest finish for all Missouri Valley Conference schools in the final 2015-16 Learfield Directors' Cup standings. It marks the 10th time in program history, that UNI has tallied the best MVC finish.
UNI also recorded the program's highest Directors' Cup finish since the 2008-2009 school year.
UNI scored 201.25 Directors' Cup points en route to a No. 93 finish. It is the 12th time that UNI has earned a top-100 finish in the final standings.
UNI scored points in football (70.00), wrestling (48.50), men's basketball (50.00), volleyball (25.00), women's outdoor track and field (7.75). Points in the Director's Cup standings are awarded by a school's finish in each sport in which it competes in NCAA postseason play. Each school may count its highest finishes in 10 men's sports and 10 women's sports.
