UNI to Play at North Carolina on Dec. 21

The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team will make the first of its two trips to Chapel Hill, N.C., to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Dec. 21, 2016, in the Dean E. Smith Center.

The Panthers scored a 71-67 triumph over the No. 1-ranked Tar Heels on Nov. 21, 2015, in the McLeod Center. It was one of three top-25 wins that the Panthers recorded last season en route to the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

UNI will also travel to North Carolina in the 2017-18 season to complete the three-game deal.
