UNI Announces Three Home MBB Games for 2016-17

University of Northern Iowa head coach Ben Jacobson has announced three home games as the Panthers continue to work through their 2016-17 non-conference slate.
The Panthers will play three a trio of home contests in the two weeks following a Thanksgiving weekend trip to Xavier (Nov. 26).
UNI will take on George Mason on Nov. 30 in the McLeod Center as the fourth game of a four-year contract. Jacobson has guided the Panthers to three wins over the Patriots over the last four seasons.
The Panthers will play host to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Wed., Dec. 7. UNI and SDSU will be meeting for the 84th time. UNI has won the last three meetings between the schools, including a 74-63 win over the Jacks in the McLeod Center on Dec. 28, 2014.
UNI will match up against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Sat., Dec. 10, in the McLeod Center. Coach Jacobson has tallied a perfect 7-0 mark against his alma mater. This year's game will complete a three-game deal between the programs.
