Former University of Northern Iowa Panther Wes Washpun is continuing his basketball experience this week at the Portsmouth Invitational. Washpun is playing on the Sales Systems Ltd. squad for the event.

Washpun scored 11 points, handed out six assists, grabbed five rebounds and blocked two shots in his Portsmouth debut.
Washpun wrapped up his UNI career having become the 40th member of the 1,000-point club (1,035 points at UNI). Washpun set the UNI single-season assist record (190) in his senior year.
