Spring Football: Catch Up With The Panthers Volume II

Each week of spring football, Panther fans will get to catch up with offensive players and defensive players on the 2016 roster.

Q: What are you looking forward to most for the Spring Game on April 29?
A: "I'm looking forward to playing a full game. It is going to be nice to get out there and run around. It is always a nice closing to spring ball."
Q: If you could choose one word to describe the way you play football, what would it be?
A: "Composed."
Q: Two weeks into spring practices, what have you learned most?
A: "To make it a point to get better day by day, every single practice."
Q: Who is going to win the spring game, offense or defense and why?
A: "Offense of course. We have the guys and have been killing it at practice. I know we will show up."
Q: What are your hobbies off the field?
A: "I like to hangout with friend, go fishing and play video games."
Q: If you were drafting a football team, what coach from the 2016 UNI staff would you choose first?
A: "I'd have to go with my quarterbacks coach, Todd Sturdy."

A: "I want to see the younger guys and see how far they have come. And I want to see how our team has developed from the beginning of spring."
Q: If you could choose one word to describe the way you play football, what would it be?
A: "Aggressive."Â
Q: Two weeks into spring practices, what have you learned most?
A: "Our passing game has improved. We are definitely more poised in our passing game."
Q: Who is going to win the spring game, offense or defense and why?
A: "The offense. We are more experienced and more confident right now. We are just ready to click on all cylinders."
Q: What are your hobbies off the field?
A: "I lift weights, bond with my teammates and play Madden with David Johnson."
Q: If you were drafting a football team, what coach from the 2016 UNI staff would you choose first?
A: "Coach Bryce Paup."

A: "I'm looking forward to seeing the energy of our guys and where we are at in the process. The defense has been flying around."

A: "Physical."

A: "Our technique and executing plays has improved. We've been doing the little things on defense."
Q: Who is going to win the spring game, offense or defense and why?
A: "Defense. We are just excited to make plays."
Q: What are your hobbies off the field?
A: "I just like to relax, take my mind off of football when I am away from the field. I enjoy music."

A: "I'd go with Coach Brandon Lynch. He is still a dog and you can tell by his energy, that he's still got it."

A: "I am definitely looking forward to seeing what the young guys can do, especially in the secondary to see what we have. It will be fun to be back in a game-like atmosphere."

A: "Competitive."
Q: Two weeks into spring practices, what have you learned most?
A: "I think finding the players that we have on the field has been key, especially with Coach Brandon Lynch coaching us. I think we have a lot of young guys and they want to compete."

A: "The defense, defense easy. The offense, they don't understand the attitude that we have."

A: "I like to read a lot and play video games, so one of those two."
