Panthers Start Spring Play at TPC Four Seasons

DALLAS, Texas - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team initiated its spring season Tuesday with the first round of the Bob Sitton Invitational. The three-day event is being held at the TPC Four Seasons course with a par-71 and playing at 6,767 yards.
The Panthers posted a first-round team score of 311 to rank 16 out of 17 teams in the tournament.
UNI's Dustin Atkinson is tied for 22nd with an opening-round 74 Atkinson scored a pair of birdies on Tuesday at No. 14 and No. 16. Jacob Bermel is tied for 32nd with a score of 75 Bermel notched his lone birdie of the round at No. 10. Kyle Driscoll is tied for 50th after posting a 77.
UNI will continue with round two on Wednesday and the final round on Thursday.
