Panther Golfers Open Spring Season in Dallas

DALLAS, Texas - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team got its spring season underway Monday with two rounds of play at the ORU/SFA Spring Break Invitational. The Panthers played the Trophy Club Country Club measuring 6,101 yards.
UNI posted a solid opening first-round of 298 and was tied for fourth place in the team standings. However, the afternoon round got away from the Panthers and they slid to 11th out of 20 teams in the tournament with a second-round team score of 314.
UNI's Sonja Przybylski is the squad's leader after day one with rounds of 74-77 (+9). Allison Rolinger carded a first-round 72, then came back with an 80 in the afternoon and is at +10 for the tournament. Maddie Bertsch is also at +10 after two rounds.
The Panthers will wrap up play with the final round on Tuesday.
