INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior guard Stephanie Davison has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association 2016 Allstate Good Works Team, it was announced today.
Davison is one of five Division I women's basketball players chosen along with five student-athletes from NCAA Divisions II, III and NAIA. The team is composed of 10 players from a total of 103 nominees this year.
The WBCA Good Works Team is in its fourth year, honoring college basketball athletes that have dedicated themselves to bettering the lives of others through giving back to their communities. Davison is the first UNI player to be named to the team and just the second player representing the Missouri Valley.
The members of the Allstate WBCA Good Works Team will be recognized during the 2016 WBCA Convention and at the 2016 NCAA Women's Final Four in Indianapolis. Davison will also get to participate in a local service project while in Indiana.

Davison, who is also a two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete selection, is a graphic designer and interns with the Northeast Iowa FCA and the UNI Panther Scholarship Club.
Davison and the Panthers will get back to work on the court on Friday, Feb. 12 when they take on Indiana State on the road. The game is set to tip off at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN3.
