SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team came up on the short end of a 4-3 decision to the Augustana College Vikings on Friday.

The Vikings scored the doubles' point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

UNI recorded its three victories in the dual in singles play. No. 1-seeded Jieke Stroobant notched a three-set triumph over Jessa Richards, 3-6, 6-3, 11-9. No. 4 Gisela Kemper also tallied a three-set victory over Berkley Darr, 6-1, 3-6, 10-4. Sydney Wolfe picked up UNI's third win of the day with a straight-set victory over Christine Olivo, 6-2, 6-2.

UNI will be back in action on Saturday at South Dakota.
