The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball team is set to host its final home games of the regular season when they take on Bradley (Friday, Feb. 26, 7 p.m.) and Loyola (Sunday, Feb. 28, 2 p.m.), with Sunday being Senior Day.
The Series: UNI is one game away from tying the all-time series against the Braves, with Bradley holding a one-game lead at 34-33. UNI is on a seven-game winning streak in the series, with Tanya Warren holding a 15-4 record against the team from Peoria. The Panthers lead the series against Loyola, 4-3 with Loyola claiming a win over the Panthers this season. Loyola joined the league in 2013-14.

UNI is shooting 74.7-percent from the line through 25 games, putting them first in the conference. The Panthers are led by junior Madison Weekly who is shooting 81.8-percent from the charity stripe, sitting at No. 2 in the conference.
Defense is Offense: UNI is currently ranked first in the MVC in scoring defense, holding teams to just 58.8 points per game. The number also ranks No. 4 all-time at UNI in team season records.
Top of the Charts: UNI took over sole possession of first place in the MVC with its 85-74 win over Drake (2/19). It was UNI's largest margin of victory over its in-state rival since 2011 when the Panthers beat the Bulldogs, 74-55 (2/12/11). Valley on ESPN3: ESPN and the MVC have announced a 10-year extension to their current media rights agreement that will provide increased coverage of conference events across ESPN platforms through the 2023-24 academic year. As part of the deal, ESPN, the MVC and its 10 member institutions will work jointly to develop in-house production capabilities at each campus that will provide significant national coverage for multiple sports on ESPN3 and hands-on educational opportunities for students. As a result, ESPN3 will showcase a minimum of 820 events a year (a minimum of 70 men's basketball) in the final six years of the agreement.
