Six Panthers Receive Conference Honors

The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer program saw six players receive all conference recognition for their performance this season. This is the most players honored for any team in Panther history.
Forward Sarah Brandt, midfielder Hannah McDevitt, defender Mary Brandt, and goalie Maddie Lesjak have been named to the All-conference second team. These four Panthers all played crucial roles in different parts of the field this season.
Sarah Brandt led the team in goals, McDevitt led the team in assists, Mary Brandt led a backline that matched the school record with seven shutouts, and Lesjak tied the single season shutout record with five.
The Panthers also saw forward Sydney Hayden and midfielder Jenny Wick named to the all-freshman team. Hayden and Wick both saw action in all 19 games this season, combining for 27 starts between the two. They both registered 2 goals each this season.
